Background and Training
Dr. Mary Roman obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed her psychology internship at the San Diego Veterans Affairs Medical Center and University of California San Diego School of Medicine, with a focus in adult and pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Roman has held positions in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, and in the Open Gates Dyslexia Program at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. She has over a dozen professional journal publications.
